How Nick closes customers from their driveway

High efficiency with estimates leads to a one stop close

Nick Hanson has built a great landscaping business: $3M in revenue and growing, and a reputation for excellent work in Jamestown, Rhode Island. But as he looked to make the leap to the next stage in his business, he had to fix a key bottleneck in his process: selling more jobs in less time.

Picky customers

Nick serves high end clientele who are very particular about their properties: whether it is knowing how much mulch would be used in their beds, or which pavers to install on their driveway, Nick’s customers care about the details. As a premier installer Nick appreciated this, but it did lead to longer sales cycles: he would visit the customer, draft a proposal at his office and send it back to his customer. It could take several days or even weeks to close the sale.

High efficiency sales

Nick started using Duranta in November 2024. Duranta’s mobile app allowed him to create a full customer proposal, directly from his mobile phone. He used HD imagery to get clear images of the property, and Duranta’s in-built drawing tools and calculators to map out where the installs would be performed. He was able to complete a proposal right from the customers driveway.

Game changing process

Nick could handle any customer objections right there, without having to go back to his office. He simply made adjustments to his design, and sent the customer a new proposal for their e-signature.
